Crosspointe Christian Academics

Secondary Overview

Junior High

The junior high years serve as a transition from elementary to high school.  Along with classes in Bible, English, Literature, Mathematics, Science, History and Physical Education, the students are encouraged to get involved in extra-curricular activities such as athletics and choir.

Senior High

CCA gives each Jr. High and High School student a great education based on the core subjects of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, from a Christian worldview.  We offer the Core 40 and more, including an honors diploma that consists of the Core 40 plus 8 additional credits.  We also encourage students to participate in fine arts and drama which include a choir, concerts, spring play, recitals, private music lessons, and state competition.  Weekly chapels stimulate the spiritual walk of each student and create a passion to know God more. Teachers have a discipleship and mentoring philosophy. Students know each other well, and the academics and biblical teaching, along with the discipline and structure of our school make it a great place to learn and develop strong character.

Curriculum Overview

The Bible is the basis of all our education and is the foundation of the ministry of CCA.  We primarily use the A Beka Book curriculum and texts through the school. Grades 1-3 use BJPress for Bible, and Grades 4-6 use Positive Action for Christ for Bible. Starting in the 7th grade, students are taught math using Saxon Math. Jr. High Bible is Positive Action for Christ, Grades 9-10 are A Beka Book, and Grades 11-12 uses Worldview by Summit ministries, Christian Leadership by Matt Williams and teacher-supplemented materials dealing with the home & family. Grades 11-12 use Dave Ramsey’s school curriculum for Economics.
