Crosspointe Christian Academics

Preschool Overview

Crosspointe Christian Academy’s provides a preschool program for 4 year olds in an enjoyable learning atmosphere with teacher directed and interactive classwork. The K4 class is taught by a caring, godly, and well-qualified faculty member.  Each preschool child will learn Biblical truths, the alphabet, numbers, phonics, cursive and manuscript writing, and much, much more.  Our K4 program ends its year with a special program where the students display much of what they have learned.  The K4 program is Monday through Friday during the school year. We offer half day (8:00 – 11:30) and full day (8:00 – 3:00) enrollment options.

The goal of kindergarten (K-5) at Crosspointe Christian Academy is to provide academic excellence and spiritual/character development in a Christ centered environment.  We maximize each child’s God-given abilities academically, spiritually and emotionally, as we instill the love of learning. The safe, structured learning environment facilitates the development of the whole child.  Our curriculum consists of daily core subjects of Bible, mathematics, phonics, reading and writing. They will also enjoy art and music.  These learning experiences are balanced with fun, educational field trips at least once a semester.

Curriculum Overview

The Bible is the basis of all our education and is the foundation of the ministry of CCA.  We primarily use the A Beka Book curriculum and texts through the school. Grades 1-3 use BJPress for Bible, and Grades 4-6 use Positive Action for Christ for Bible. Starting in the 7th grade, students are taught math using Saxon Math. Jr. High Bible is Positive Action for Christ, Grades 9-10 are A Beka Book, and Grades 11-12 uses Worldview by Summit ministries, Christian Leadership by Matt Williams and teacher-supplemented materials dealing with the home & family. Grades 11-12 use Dave Ramsey’s school curriculum for Economics.

Crosspointe Christian Academy seeks to serve in partnership with parents in the quest to equip their children academically, socially, and spiritually to serve their God, their family, their church, and their community.
